  Solar Cities Inc

In June 2004, Prime Minister John Howard announced the $75 million Solar Cities Program in the Energy White Paper, Securing Australia's Energy Future. The Solar Cities Program will trial new sustainable models for electricity supply and use in urban sites by combining solar power, energy efficiency and demand management measures.

  Multi-unit BASIX Deferred by Three Months

On the 23rd of June Infrastructure and Planning Minister Craig Knowles agreed to a Property Council request for the industry to be given a further three months before it must comply with the new multi-unit BASIX requirements for residential development.
