ACO creates products for water management solutions and for utility enclosures.

Global climate change is causing more frequent extreme weather events such as droughts and heavy rainfall. ACO develops innovative product and system solutions to weather these events and is the world leader in the design and manufacture of corrosion resistant products.

Established in 1946, the ACO group has manufactured products for over 50 years in the construction industry. It operates on a global basis through its subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities in over 28 countries in North America, Europe, Asia and Australasia. ACO employs 3800 employees worldwide.

In the early 1970s, ACO pioneered the development of a modular approach to channel drainage systems made from durable polymer concrete. In 1972. ACO set up a company in Switzerland, followed by France in 1976 and the United States of America in 1978, then Australia in 1988. Since then the ACO Group has expanded globally and today has companies worldwide.

Today, ACO in Australasia offers an extensive portfolio of stormwater, building drainage systems, electrical pit and ducting systems, access covers and other products for niche application, both external and internal.

ACO is headquartered in Emu Plains, Sydney and has offices and distributors throughout Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the South Pacific.

ACO is an Acronym of Ahlmann family, the family that started ACO and still owns it today.
