Comcork Flooring ... naturally unique
The secret behind Comcork Flooring is its unique
blend of cork and rubber. Cork, a natural renewable resource harvested from cork trees, is made up of an amazing
cell structure containing millions of tiny cells which have trapped air inside. Combine this with the flexibility
of rubber and you have a product which offers some very special benefits. |

Comcork Flooring delivers a number of benefits to meet the special needs
of Aged Care, Child Care, Education, Sport, Hospitality, Transport, Marine, Industry and the Commercial Sector.
Comfort
Comcork Flooring is more comfortable than traditional flooring,
It's unique cork cell structure acts like miniature cushions underfoot, helping to reduce impact on joints and
muscles.
Insulative
Noise: The special
cork cell structure acts as a natural sound dampener - absorbing and limiting the transfer of sound - providing
a much quieter environment where there is a greater sensitivity to noise.
Thermal: The
air trapped inside the unique cell structure acts like insulation, providing a natural barrier to unwanted outside
air - making it much warmer in winter and cooler in summer. |

Safer
Comcork Flooring provides excellent anti-slip in both wet and dry
conditions. Both cork and rubber have naturally high frictional properties. The cork particles act like little
suction cups, gripping underfoot, creating a much safer environment for the elderly, where slips and falls can
result in serious injury.
Dimensional Stability
The inherent properties of the raw materials of cork and rubber,
together with the extreme pressure and high temperatures used to forge them into Comcork Flooring, result in products
that have excellent point of contact pressure absorption, strength and durability - borne out by long-standing
use in heavy traffic areas.
