From raw log to finished panel, the complete process of particleboard and plywood manufacture, peeling and slicing of veneers and panel laying is performed in the one integrated factory to ensure the highest product consistency.

Brims Wood Panels Pty. Ltd. is 100% Australian owned. The company has been manufacturing wood panels completely from raw log to finished panel since 1915. The major log input is plantation grown Hoop Pine (Araucaria) - a sustainable resource managed by the Queensland Government Department of Primary Industries under certified environmental system standards.

BRIMSBOARD is a premium quality moisture resistant wood veneered particleboard suitable for quality furniture and paneling applications.

Made from plantation Hoop Pine (Araucaria) under Australia's only 7 layer process in which controlled cut and graded wood particles are formed into seven separate but completely interlocked layers. This gives the particleboard a very fine texture and provides excellent cutting, drilling and machining characteristics.

Premium quality veneers are bonded to the board using moisture resistant adhesives. Each panel is superfine sanded both sides ready for use.

BRIMSPLY is a premium quality plywood suitable for quality furniture and paneling applications. Made from plantation Hoop Pine (Araucaria) it has knot free construction with surface veneers suitable for clear finishing. Unlike most other plywoods, Brimsply remains flat.

Marine plywood has special construction of carefully selected A grade veneers to guarantee maximum bending strength, dimensional stability and impact resistance. This is the ultimate for wet and extreme weather conditions.

Exterior plywood has economic construction where cost considerations are paramount and is suitable for external applications.

Interior plywood has economic construction and is suitable for interior applications only.

Decorative plywood is interior plywood surfaced with a range of wood veneers seen on our website.

 
LASERPLY is a premium quality plywood especially prepared for dieboard applications.

Made from plantation Hoop Pine (Araucaria) it has knot free construction. It has a special build-up to ensure flatness and is calibrated and sanded for accurate thickness tolerances. This is the ultimate for laser cut dieboard use.
