DEVI heating cables and mats work effectively under all kinds of floors: timber, tiles, vinyl and terrazzo. The heating mats are less than 3mm thick and can therefore be fitted directly on top of existing tiled, terrazzo or concrete floors, without increasing floor heights.
The entire floor heating system - including moulding material and the new floor covering e.g. tiles, timber or carpet only takes up 10-15mm. This means that you usually do not need to plane the bottom edges of doors or raise skirting boards.
