Energy Efficiency and Sustainability
Timber is a renewable resource and we only use timber that has been sourced from managed and sustainable forests. This ensures that the material for any timber product we make, is thoughtfully selected, then re-planted and nurtured, to protect the wellbeing and future of our natural environment.
The manufacturing process for producing our timber windows and doors is gentle on the environment. It does not require the mining of our limited precious minerals or the huge energy that is needed, to produce some of the other man-made materials on the market today.
Performance & Compliance - Making a Worthwhile Investment
The size, orientation, glazing treatment and internal coverings of your windows all have a significant impact on the energy efficiency and comfort of your home. Our windows and doors are all certified to the Australian Glazing Standard AS1288 for your safety. It is our policy to certify all windows and doors to suit the water penetration resistance and structural requirements of Australian Standard AS2047. This is not always possible with unusual architectural designs. Products that have passed strict NATA testing requirements prove our high quality construction methods and weather sealing systems effectively exclude wind and rain. We also fit performance labels to your joinery to show that it has been designed to suit the conditions in your location.
