As a matter of policy, Jotun Powder Coatings has always been thoroughly dedicated to technical service and problem solving. If you are experiencing a problem, rest assured that we have the powder to set things right.

When a company intends to convert its operations to powder coating, we believe it is essential that they consult with fully trained and experienced experts, thereby avoiding mistakes in design or powder technique which can be very expensive to rectify after the installation of the coating plant whether it be large or small.

Jotun Powder Coatings is a firm believer in providing this service, not only with instructive, carefully designed technical literature, but by personal visits by highly qualified and experienced personnel equipped with the essential technical equipment to solve most problems - there and then.

POWDER COATINGS - Research & Development
During stages of manufacture, before, during and after production a rigid quality assurance system is imposed. During manufacture, constant sampling takes place to assure consistent quality throughout the batch.

The finished powder is then meticulously checked for appearance, colour accuracy, particle size distribution and degree of gloss and flow. The cured coating is subjected to a strict routine of physical tests including adhesion, flow penetration and impact resistance.

This enables a complete history of any production batch and its characteristics to be retained in our control laboratories. Other long term testing is also carried out by artificial weathering, salt spray corrosion testing and by climate conditions peculiar to Scandinavia, Florida, the Middle East and the Far East.
