Keim® Granital

Protective Keim® Granital protects render and other mineralic substrates from aggressive environmental pollution. By penetrating into the substrate it forms a hard surface of insoluble silicates and solidifies even crumbly and sandy substrates. As silicate crystals are the basic structure of the hardest rocks on earth, Keim® paints are obviously the best imaginable protection for a building. Keim® Granital is highly water repellent without sealing the pores, the water pearls off due to it's surface tension. The humidity of the substrate can still diffuse out. |
| There is no chance for mould, and the hard silicate surface makes Keim® Granital highly resistant to weather, industrial pollution and fire. Keim® Granital has been fire tested and achieved British BAA certification including the highest Class "O" standard. |
| Environmentally Harmless Ecological surveys prove that Keim® Granital is one of the most environmentally harmless paints available. We use only inorganic pigments and fillers as well as liquid silicates, materials which exist in nature also. Our philosophy is, to use as little organic and synthetic materials in our products as necessary and as much inorganic and natural materials as possible. |

| Lightfast Keim® Granital is available in more than 250 standard tones, in historical colours and natural stone tones. as far as it can be done with inorganic pigments, we also mix customized colour tones according to your samples. Keim® Granital maintains its matt, brilliant mineral appearance for many years, as we use only lightfast, inorganic pigments from deep dark tones to light pastel shades. Keim® Granital can be applied highly opaque or highly translucent to match all aesthetic requirements. Economical As the qualities of Keim® Granital in regard to its resistance against environmental influences lead to an extreme long-life, its economic advantage is clear. As the major part of the painting costs are labour and scaffolding costs, saving one painting-cycle means to save more money than the paint costs itself. Keim® Granital is easy to handle and can be applied as fast and easy as other paints. Keim® Granital is easy to paint even on difficult substrates and has a low consumption by its high opacity. To invest a little more into Keim® paints means to save money in the future, as it is easy to renew. You don't have to spend money for removal or disposal; you just clean and paint over with a new Keim® Granital coating system. |
