Keim® Royalan

Why Keim® Royalan Paints? Keim® Royalan Paints are a further development of Keim® Mineral paints, designed to meet the demands of extreme climatic conditions. Keim® Mineral Paints are famous for their durability which often extends over decades. Keim® Royalan Paints have been developed from them and are ideally suited to the hard conditions which are found in desert regions and in the tropics. When the paints are exported to other climates, they are often stored unprotected for many weeks. Because of this, the storage durability under such conditions also has to be ensured. |
| In countries outside Europe there are often only workers available who are insufficiently trained. Therefore it is essential that the application of the paints should be simple and easy. In answer to these problems Keim® have developed the Keim® Royalan System. The products of this system are delivered ready for painting and spraying, and can usually be used unthinned. Keim® colours are available in more than 200 standard colours acc. to Keim® palette. Additional colours per customers request. |
| Keim® paints solve all problems Keim® Royalan can be adapted to meet all special requirements. For example, when the following may be required: Coating which - smooths out uneven patches - impregnates - reflects strongly - helps prevent from fungas formation - gives a rough-grained effect - is suitable for use in places where food is prepared or sold Keim® Royalan paints can be described in this way: It is possible to fulfil all the above conditions with only on application process. Keim® Royalan Coatings are extremely economical when used in conjunction with the modern Airless technique. |

| Application Keim® Royalan can be applied on all mineral surfaces by brush, roller or airless spraying. Exposed masonry (limestone, sandstone) often contains natural salts. In order to prevent the efflorescence of these salts, we recommend an application with Keim® Silan Primer which reacts chemically with the surface and the following first coat of Keim® Royalan. Due to the chemical reaction it is particularly weather resistant and prevents the efflorescence of the natural salts. |
