Made from either Kalantis (an ideal substitute for Australian Cedar for restoration projects) or Western Red Cedar, each piece of lumber is selected to ensure that the
moisture content is within an acceptable range, and that it is free of any defects that may lead to shrinkage or warping at a later date.
Industrial Timber Finishing prefers to finish exterior shutters in enamel, which is the most durable finish and offers the best protection to the timber. They can also
finish exterior shutters in an oil finish, but this will require more maintenance as time goes by. Industrial Timber Finishing is also happy to supply shutters raw-fine
sanded and ready to finish.
