Five years ago Buildex launched FibreTeks, the first fastener purpose built for fixing non-compressed fibre cement sheeting into thin metal battens only.
Further research and development has led to the launch of FibreZips, which can now fix into both timber and thin metal battens up to 1.6mm.
Fully approved and specified by the fibre cement sheet industry, FibreZips include a specially designed buttress thread for greater pull out strength and comes in
Zincalloy 3 coating which meets the As3566 Class 3 Standard. FibreZips also feature the patented lip design which ensures screws stop as soon as it makes contact with
the surface of the board, so you get a flush finish with minimum embedment. Also covered by the Buildex Warrenty, FibreZips are proudly made in Australia for Australian
conditions.
