CobbleTac ProStep™ Stair Nosing is manufactured from reinforced aluminium extrusion,
milled in a bull nosed or straight faced anodised finish to provide a long term attractive
non-slip solution.
Ultimate in Anti-Slip Safety
The product is available with a peel and stick pressure sensitive adhesive backed insert
in a smooth, rippled or carborundum grit surface profile to provide the ultimate in safety
stair nosing. CobbleTac ProStep™ stair nosing's are available in an R13 rating and exceed
the requirements of the Australian / New Zealand Standards AS/NZ 4586:2004, Slip Resistance
of pedestrian surfaces and the Building Code of Australia.
Easy to Install For both Indoor and Outdoor Applications
CobbleTac ProStep™ stair nosing's are easy to install with a simple drill and screw. And
with a large range of standard inserts, in either a smooth rippled or carborundum finish,
once they are installed there are no unsightly fixtures, so your investment looks great.
For the DIY inclined CobbleTac ProStep™ stair nosing's can also be provided pre-cut to
length, punched for carpet application or counter sunk for other substrates such as concrete,
timber or ceramics.
Australian Standards
CobbleTac Stair nosing's are 50 mm wide and available in 3 standard colour's to meet the minimum
width and luminance contrast requirements of the Building Code of Australia BCA3.2 and the
Australian Standards AS/NZS 1428 Part 1 - 2001 9.1[c] Design for access and mobility.
Complete Range
Where the use of CobbleTac ProStep™ stair nosing's are not practical, such as on the rungs of
ladders or when your priority is minimal cost, CTA Australia has a complete range of simple but
effective carborundum modified angled plate and anti-slip tapes.
