Electronic Blueprint building specification and technical marketing service
Electronic Blueprint, a web-based building specification and technical
marketing service, has announced plans to work closely with M&V, of India, to assist
building products suppliers to understand and negotiate the hurdles of Code-Mark and
Building Code of Australia (BCA) compliance. Particular emphasis will be accorded to
sustainability issues through the ENVIROSPEC division of Electronic Blueprint.
Rod Johnston (Electronic Blueprint Chairman) stated, "Building products importers should
be aware of the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) CodeMark scheme for third party
certification of building products for the Australian market. We will work closely with
M&V to ensure that Indian suppliers meet sustainability and BCA requirements, and
achieve CodeMark certification where applicable. CodeMark is an important tool in ensuring
the availability of high quality building products in Australia. Our link with M&V
(India) is an important step in ensuring that this quality can be achieved."
