New Water educates school children on saving water

New Water, an innovative water solutions company, has joined forces
with the Gould Group to educate Victorian school children on environmental sustainability.
New Water's innovative Rain Reviva In-Slab and bladder rainwater tanks as well as the
Aqua Reviva grey water treatment system are supplied for use in the new Gould Group
project titled 'Water Savers Discovery and Teaching Garden'.
The aim of the project is to establish a display site that demonstrates school ground
projects relating to gardens, indigenous plantings and wildlife habitats with a focus
on water conservation.
This project will be launched on Wednesday, 30 May, at Gould Group's environmental and
sustainability education centre in Genoa Street, Moorabbin.
As well as providing water solutions, New Water has provided advice to the project.
Andrew Pearce, CEO of New Water, is excited about their union.
"For decades, the Gould Group has been at the forefront of environmental education in
Australian schools and we are proud to be involved with such an instrumental organisation,"
Mr Pearce said.
He also stressed the current need for rainwater tanks at home.
"Homeowners need to think seriously about how rainwater tanks can make a real difference
and we believe this is the best and most innovative way to harness and store rainwater. It
is great that the Gould Group is helping people realise this," Mr Pearce said.
"The In-Slab tanks used in the Gould Group project have a 660 litre capacity per unit and
the number of units that can be incorporated into the slab is limited only by the size and
type of slab," he said.
The Gould Group is an independent non-profit organisation which assists individuals, families
and communities to adopt more environmentally sustainable lifestyles.
The Rain Reviva and Aqua Reviva systems are Australian designed and made, and are sold by
New Water throughout Australia & New Zealand.
