The MagniFocus contemporary fireplace by The Good House

A ripped piece of steel, each copy of the Magnifocus is a unique creation.
Dominique Umbert sculpts a different "tear" in each individual raw sheet of steel, resulting
in a work of art that is original and powerful, yet remains practical. Each piece is signed.
Modeled on the custom designed "Eclate Geant" (2 x 3.5 x 6m )made in 1987 for a private client,
this smaller, home-sized version was selected for the Premio Design Italiano in Rome.
Height can be specified up to 3 meters. Custom design also available (see picture of such a
copy implemented for a circular, rotating home...)Finish is polished raw steel, with exposed
welding seams. A large ash tray is concealed in the base. A fresh air intake is compulsory.
Guaranteed efficiency is dependent upon a minimum flue length (internal + external) of 3.00 m.
