The larger than manhole size opening will permit bulky items to be moved
into the roof. A conventional staircase is expensive and takes up a lot of valuable space.
The disappearing staircase is easy and quick to install as it comes fully assembled in its
own frame with ceiling panel attached. Detailed installation instructions are supplied to the
handyman, or if preferred, installation may be arranged. Simply cut our a hole in the ceiling
and reinforce cut ceiling joists where necessary.
