In 1975, a company was formed called EAA Pty Ltd. Its purpose was to build
machinery for the brick making industry which we had previously imported. Later in 1979,
EAA. became heavily involved in the mining industry.
In 1981 the overseas interests were bought out and the name changed to CLAYCO. Clay & Co Sales
is the marketing arm involved with import and export of lifts. Clay & Co Engineers
is the manufacturing arm producing CLAYCO Passenger Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts and Goods
Hoists in Australia.
Clay & Co Engineers carries out service and repairs to lifts and hoists in Australia.

All forms of scissor lifts and mast hoists for materials handling. Mast type goods hoists and
stacking machines, service lifts etc.
Aerial Access Platforms, Jib Cranes, Special Purpose Lifts
All types of aerial access platforms, eg. self propelled scissor lifts from 3 metre to 18 metre
(raised). Telescopic and knuckle booms (EWPs) truck mounted, rail mounted or self propelled. Jib
cranes, special purpose forklifts, ground support equipment for servicing aircraft, drum hoists
and rotators, tilt trays and ramps for trucks, tail gate loaders, dock levellers, vehicle
turntables and hoists for cars.
