Custom truss systems by Design Quintessence
"We like Bing Lee, we like Bing Lee..." - we certainly do! Total Concept
Projects secured an excellent truss fit-out contract recently for a new Bing Lee store
in a brand new shopping centre development in Sydney. Bing Lee is the second largest
electronics retail chain in NSW with over 37 stores and the design brief to the shopfitters
was to come up with something not seen before.
The store in the stylish Rhodes Waterside shopping centre has used a large quantity of F34
Square Truss for a very creative plasma screen display and decorative use throughout. A lot
of custom pieces of truss were included in the fit-out. For Paul Cavallaro, TCP's project
manager, the truss fit-out was a new experience.
"Our work is very diverse but I haven't had a lot of truss installations to look after,
certainly not on this scale. There were a few design changes required along the way but
Design Quintessence was able to come up with some custom-made solutions that worked really well.
The whole job looks great and I'm looking forward to the next time we can work with Global Truss."
