Dux Hot Water Launches The Centaur That Delivers More

Running out of hot water in the football club shower room could be a thing of the past thanks to an upgraded system launched by Dux Hot Water.

The New Centaur system is designed to provide class-leading first hour delivery of hot water at mains pressure and a rapid recovery rate, minimising the chances of running out of hot water during periods of high demand.

The new system combines the Dux Endurance continuous flow unit with either a Dux 250 or 400 litre mains pressure storage tank.

The New Centaur system is the only product in its market segment to be offered with a 400 litre tank.

Dux Hot water says the larger tank allows New Centaur to achieve a high recovery rate of 635 litres of hot water in the first hour. This equates to a first hour delivery of 1035 litres.

According to Sydney Water, the average person uses 63 litres of water when showering.

"Centaur II is aimed at commercial customers who need a lot of hot water delivered at mains pressure for short periods of the day," says Dux Hot Water's National Manager - Gas and Electric, Howard Lloyd.

"It would be ideal, for example, for sporting clubs which need a lot of hot water after games, or for factories where staff use the showers at the end of a shift," said Mr Lloyd.

Dux Hot Water says the New Centaur system can also be "banked" - combining several of the systems - to provide even more hot water for larger commercial premises such as hotels.
