Glasbord® panels have been used in the building industry for years in the US, and now they are beginning to make an impact on the Australian market in
areas where sanitation and cleanliness is vital.
Glasbord® is a fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) which meets a variety of code requirements including Factory Mutual, AQIS, and HACCP, and is widely used throughout
the construction and building materials industries due to its unique Surfaseal® finish. This trademarked finish is a specialty surface chemically fused to the polyester
resin finish to create a finish that is up to 10 times easier to clean, and up to 6 times more stain resistant than other wall linings.
The entire Glasbord® panel does not support mould or mildew, nor will it rust or corrode like other wall linings, which makes Glasbord® a clear winner in
application's where cleanability and sanitation or abuse resistance are required, such as abattoir's, commercial kitchen's, car washes, and amenity blocks.
