Breezway's new Altair longer louvre gallery
Altair Louvre Galleries continue to scale new heights with the
introduction of longer louvre galleries. Available in blade counts of up to 21
and 33 for 152mm blades and 102mm blades respectively Altair Louvre windows can
now reach heights of up to 3060mm without the use of transoms.
3m tall Altair Louvre Windows add a new dimension to the energy efficiency of
homes. With no fixed panes and blades that open almost horizontally, Altair
Louvre Windows allow cooling breezes more effectively than any other window type.
At full height they also use convection to create a natural thermal chimney with
cool air entering near the floor and hot air rising and leaving the room near the
ceiling. This makes them not only a great feature window, but also a great energy
saving feature as the natural ventilation reduces the reliance on power hungry air
conditioning to cool the home.
To accommodate the new maximum heights handle and key lock positions on all sizes
have been updated.
