StoneClip SupportClip fixes stone masonry at Airlie Beach
600mm x 600mm x 10mm tile with indents ready for SupportClip to be installed.
The below project is at Airlie Beach and the project is the new Blue Horizon
apartment building that has just been completed by Arrow International Australia, who chose
to use the 20mm set size StoneClip as the fixing medium and the panels of rocked faced 35mm
thick Sandstone where fixed at the top of each course of stone using 1 ONLY StoneClip in
conjunction with using a good adhesive; (this method is shown on our web site under the
heading of ECO-STONECLIP).
There are 10 StoneClip's used/m2, fixing the panels in this format adds a cost of $35.00/m2
to the installation but gives the project total security from fixing mishaps. The height of
the project is 7.000mm and the Stone Masonry was done by Mr Rob Kievel.
