Structural bracing straps from MiTek Australia
The structural bracing strap is a thin steel strip with pre-punched holes. It
is commonly used for bracing wall panels by being fixed in a diagonal criss-cross fashion as
detailed in AS1684. MiTek nails are used to fix the strap into the timber structure by being
driven through the staggered holes. A MiTek tensioner may be used where required to remove any
slackness.
