Tensioner pre-tension structural bracing straps by MiTek Australia
The Tensioner is used to pre-tension structural bracing straps after they have been
installed on bracing wall panels according to AS1684. The T-bar screw is inserted through the central
hole of a strap and then through the cupped section of the Tensioner on the other side. The wing nut
is then used to apply the pre-tension by drawing the strap against the cupped section which acts as
a spring.
