Selitflex folding underlay is quick and easy to install.
Introducing new Selitflex folding underlay panels. Recently launched at Domotex
Hannover, and now available in Australia, the Selitflex multi-panel is the fastest way to underlay
timber and laminate floors. The unique folding technology means you can spread the underlay in one
smooth and very quick action. This saves both time and money.
Selitflex is actually two products in one - an insulating underlay and a moisture barrier. This makes
it ideal for new buildings as well as renovations and additions where moisture and humidity are
potential problems.
The unique aluminium coated surface acts as a vapour barrier and helps block rising moisture. The
drainage grooves on the bottom side effectively channel off any residual moisture often caused by
high slab humidity. The 3mm thick polystyrene foam reduces transmission noise by up to approximately
20dB also providing sound impact insulation and enhances acoustic properties within the interior space.
The foam core also enhances walking comfort by providing cushioning under foot.
Another benefit of the surface coated with the sandwich foil is its smooth finish, which greatly
simplifies installation under click laminate flooring. In addition, Selitflex can also be used with
existing hot water underfloor heating (on laminate floors up to 9 mm thick). Selitflex is flame retardant
and has been third-party tested to strict requirements for health and safety.
Available in packs 1.0m x 10m in one folding length, Selitflex offers coverage of 10m²2. This provides
excellent merchandising opportunities, the underlay and sealing tape are all conveniently packaged for
simple point of sale. And there is no heavy lifting required as pallets can be easily shifted by hand
without the need for pallet trucks or forklifts.
