Kingspan Raised Access Floors from Dynamic Composite Technologies

Raised Access Floors

Kingspan's Raised Access Floor panels are the undisputed leader is raised access floor products and systems. Designed to give maximum flexibility for the installation of a myriad of services to equipment and workstations, the Raised Access Floor facilitates the delivery of power, voice, data and under floor HVAC, via the under floor service void, to the precise point of need. This enables rapid office layout changes (churn) and adapts to any future occupier/tenant and technology requirements.

To alter or amend the services with a Raised Access Floor requires the simple lifting of a panel, introduction of the new cables etc. and then replacement of the same panel. This is virtually impossible with old fashioned cable management systems, such as sub floor trunking, where it is necessary to either scabble the concrete slab or introduce a new piece of trunking before making good the slab.

Kingspan Raised Access Floors panels can accommodate any variety of floor finishes, including floor carpet tiles, laminates and natural material finishes.

So what are the applications for raised access floors?

Where ever there is a need for a significant level of computer/telecom equipment:

  • municipal buildings
  • financial and insurance offices
  • national and local government offices
  • general administration buildings
  • call centres
  • data processing centres
  • telecom switch centres
  • meeting rooms/conference rooms/auditoriums
  • general business parks

The Raised Access Floor system provides a cost effective and flexible solution across a wide range of business sectors either in new build or refurbishment applications.

Some of the advantages of a raised access floor include:

  • upgrade and refurbish outdated office space to modern office requirements
  • facilitates under floor cable management and/or under floor HVAC
  • maximises office space layout flexibility to meet occupants and tenants existing and future work space requirements, therefore extending the building's lifecycle
  • provides localised desk cable services
  • reduced power, voice and data cabling costs
  • permits rapid office and equipment layout change or upgrading
  • eliminates ceiling cable trays
