BTA Waterproofing membrane rectifies balconies and more

Victoria Hotel Appartments, 123 Beaconsfield Parade, Albert Park:

This magnificent period building has been a landmark to the area since the 1880 era.

The Victorian facade has been retained to keep the history alive, and to house the latest modern apartments.

Waterproofing works included, the supply and installation of a liquid applied polyurathane membrane system to the second floor front balcony with tiles over by the builder.

Level one balcony required a new system to be considered due to the original concrete substrate having minimal falls and the Tremco Vulkem Decorative aggregate with integrated waterproofing membrane was chosen to solve the problem and to offer a non-slip and appealling finish to the areas as required.

Balcony rectification works to the Townhouse, 6 Elizabeth st., Mornington:

We supplied all materials and labour and organized contractors to rectify the failed balcony works as done by original builder.

A flexible and durable polyurathane membrane system was used on compressed fibre cement sheet to new falls was provided, to give a perminant remedy to both the client and the insurance company. The original style and finishes were retained to keep the refurbishment inkeeping with the developement.
