Tsurumi LSC submersible pump from the Engineered Products Group
The exclusive Australian distributor for Tsurumi Pumps, Engineered Products Group (EPG) has a great new pump for
"mop-up" duties. The Tsurumi LSC "Residual Dewatering Pump" is capable of pumping water down to a minimum level of 1 mm.
This small pump has the capability of greatly reducing on-site labour costs by enabling any floodwater to be pumped down to
within 1 mm of the bottom of the basement, vat, tank, trench or pothole, hence enabling works to be completed with less waiting
or "mop-up" time. Each LSC is fitted with a reverse flow prevention device that allows it to retain all of the pumped water in
the discharge line after it has completed the pumping cycle and starts to draw air.
As with all Tsurumi Pumps, the LSC comes standard with many features. It has a double mechanical seal (not lip seals) whose
primary faces are Silicon Carbide vs Silicon Carbide. The pump also has built-in motor thermal overload protection and an
anti-wicking device that prevents moisture from "wicking" down the cable and into the motor. It also has Tsurumi's patented
oil lifter (providing oil to the top seal faces even if critical oil levels within the casing have been reached).
