Dalsouple to launch new sustainable rubber floor at DesignEx
After moving from New Zealand to Australia one year ago,
Dalsouple Australasia has had a lot of success having their natural rubber
flooring installed at places such as Melbourne Airport, Melbourne Grammar
School, MCG National Sports Museum, Queensland Brain Institute.
Dalsouple is the only manufacturer to make DalNaturel rubber flooring using
only natural rather than synthetic rubber. Natural rubber is a wholly renewable
raw material, harvested from mature rubber trees. Rubber trees are exceptionally
efficient at carbon sequestration. Energy required in manufacture is very low,
service life is long (Dalsouple has installations that have been in situ for 40
years), and rubber is easy to recycle. All this combines to make DalNaturel
rubber flooring what Dalsouple believe to be the most sustainable resilient
flooring in the world today.
People can visit the Dalsouple Australasia stand number 2175, near the new
product stand, at DesignEx 2008 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition
Centre from 10th - 12th April. Come and walk over their stand flooring as
it will be the new rubber floor that they have entered in the new product awards.
People can talk to Dalsouple Australasia with nearly 20 years experience
in rubber flooring, see photos of Australasian installations, see, feel
and smell the whole colour and texture range, take home some free samples
and have a go at designing their own Terrazzo flooring on the computer. They
are also happy to arrange a meeting either at the show, or on any of the two
days after in Sydney.
