Global Safe Technologies' floor safety treatment used to solve forklift predicament

The team at Global Safe Technologies Australia are at it again. Whilst on site solving a slip issue on some stairs at large paper manufacturer, they were asked if they could help out with another safety issue – a fork lift attachment. The company were losing valuable time and had safety concerns in relation to the fork lift that handles the huge 2 ton paper rolls they use in the manufacture process. The rolls were slipping out of the attachment and not only slowing down production and lifting labour costs but creating a safety issue as well. The Global Safe Team applied the Safe Grip strips to the attachment and bingo no slip issue now.

Since then the client has tried the attachment the staff have been reporting back that the problems have been solved. The fork lift driver no longer has to worry about the rolls slipping which has made his life easier and also reduced the risk of any incident. The industry unique, Floor Safety Maintenance Program (FSMP) is also been accepted by the client which will ensure that the surface as well as other treated floor surfaces will remain safe for all employees and visitors, now and in the future. Global Safe offers the FSMP to non domestic clients at no additional cost.

The management was also very satisfied with the result as it has vastly improved the safety as well as productivity and employee satisfaction.
