Mascot Engineering solid top cast iron covers
In keeping with our mantra of lightweight and easy
to install products, Mascot has launched new Solid Top Cast Iron Covers.
These Drop-in covers have been specifically designed to suit our GRC Pits.
They simply drop into the rebate of our pits - the frame should be attached
to the pit with epoxy to hold it in place.
These Covers are bolt down and are fitted with standard lifting key holes
for easy access. They can also be supplied with brass marker plates if required.
The covers are also watertight and are rated to Class C for pits up to 900sq
and Class B for the larger 1200sq.
We still manufacture the traditional gastight Cast Iron in-fill covers as
well as lightweight pedestrian duty GRC Covers.
