The Good House's OptiFocus contemporary fireplace
This model has the sliding glass panel system that allows fire
maximum visibility inherited from the Meijifocus. From the Hexofocus it has
borrowed the hearth-shelf, the base used for wood storage, and the heat exchanger.
Optimizing these elements in a harmonious blend, this French fireplace is an ideal
solution for limited space, without compromising on charm or heat-efficiency.
The fireguard consists of three heat-resistant glass panels: two are fixed and
one slides open. This model has separate elements: the shelf (two sizes: 1.25 or
1.75m), the hood, the flue, and a steel backing plate for the hearth. The standard
shelf is made of black steel. It can be customised with other materials, such as
ceramic, granite, marble (not supplied), or enable lava stone (available as an option).
Guaranteed efficiency is dependent upon a minimum flue length (internal + external) of 3.75m.
Accessories include a U profile edging for the shelf, a fireguard, charcoal grey paint,
a ceiling flange and stainless steel upper flue adapter.
