TigerTurf synthetic grass for the Gold Coast Titans rugby sideline
During the construction of the brand new Gold Coast Robina Stadium,
home of the Titans rugby team, the Head Curator, Peter Cronin, was looking for an
alternative to natural grass for the main side line.
TigerTurf were able to provide the answer, synthetic grass. We installed 565m² of
TigerTurf FR65R with a sand and rubber infill. The grass will provide superior wear
and tear to natural grass and added support due to the 10mm rubber shockpad underneath
the grass. The system conforms to IRB, International Rugby Board standards.
In addition we have supplied a short pile non filled grass for the warm up area,
1100m², that can be washed down.
