Gratings and handrails by Weldlok Industries
Weldlok Industries, a division of the Graham Group is
a manufacturer of gratings and handrails. Weldlok Industries has developed
two simple hot-dip galvanised mild steel modular walkway solutions:
- Angle series stringers.
- Channel series stringers.
Grate-Walk modular walkway systems offer a simple solution for your
access requirements for:
- Conveyor walkways.
- Materials handling plants.
- Plant & machinery access.
- Rooftop walkways.
- Catwalks.
- Crossovers.
Grate-Walk modular walkway systems are designed for horizontal
applications, where the walkway is for use on a slope.
The Grate-Walk system is designed to meet the requirements of:
- AS1657 for the design, construction and installation of fixed platforms,
walkways, stairways and ladders.
- AS4100 for steel structures code.
- AS1170.1 for loading code.
- AS/NZS4680 for hot-dip galvanising conformance.
Grate-Walk modules are available in the following configurations:
- 750mm or 900mm wide (nominal).
- 150x90x8 angle design (fabricated) or 230x75 PFC design (kit form - site assembly required).
- Available in 3m or 6m lengths.
- Standard grating type BS60-253 flooring material, but any grating type from 20mm to 32mm deep may be used.
- Optional fabricated Weldlok Balltube handrail panels for attaching to the walkway stringers.
