Style® bamboo flooring has launched a brand new product that is antique
in look but high-tech in nature. Antique by Style has a century-aged patina for warmth
and character - mid-brown in colour and highlighted with black stain, the wide boards
closely resemble an original or recycled, native hardwood floor. Antique is also finished
with a French bleed stain - where the edges between the boards are darkened to create a
visual thickness and time worn authenticity to the installed floor.
But the look is where the comparison to old timber ends. Style bamboo flooring has been
created using a unique patented strand woven technology that makes the boards harder and
stronger than most native hardwoods. Made from mature moso bamboo, it rates an outstanding
15.3 kN on the Janka Hardness scale and with a scratch-resistant UV pre-finished coatings
make it extremely hardwearing and perfect for high traffic commercial areas.
Environmentally friendly Style is the only bamboo flooring with the tick of approval from
Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) and is only available from recognised reseller
outlets throughout Australia and New Zealand. Antique by Style is available in 142 mm T&G
