GECA Seeks Feedback for New Standards

Good Environmental Choice Australia is asking for feedback from developers, manufacturers and infrastructure project teams on which additional standards it should develop to help projects earn points under the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia's (ISCA) IS rating scheme.

The scheme awards ratings to infrastructure projects at various stages of development, from planning and design to the operational stage, to demonstrate sustainability performance. This serves to reward procurement and use of major materials that have environmental labels or are from sustainable supply chains. Read more

How ISCA can help GECA licensees

Being one of our licensees means that your product can benefit from ISCA's IS Rating Tool. The scheme recognises GECA as an environmental labelling body and therefore rewards project proponents who source GECA certified products and are seeking an IS Certification.

ISCA is a member-based, not-for-profit industry council and works to advance sustainability in infrastructure planning, procurement, delivery and operation. More details about how being GECA certified makes your product more attractive in the eyes of infrastructure project teams are available on our website, or read more about the IS Ratings tool at ISCA.
