Leading pool equipment supplier Waterco Ltd has partnered with Royal Life Saving Society - Australia to co-brand Royal Life Saving CPR charts.

"We are thrilled to have forged a partnership with such a highly respected organisation," says George Flory, Waterco's domestic water care product manager. "The Royal Life Saving CPR chart is considered the benchmark when speaking with council building inspectors who approve swimming pools and provide the final building approval, so co-branding the charts is ideal.

"While it's mandatory for all pools to display an approved CPR chart within the pool area, one of the big issues for Royal Life Saving has been communicating the message about the need to have approved CPR charts in the pool area. According to the society, anecdotal evidence suggests that around 95 per cent of pools fail at the first inspection - the main reasons being inadequate pool fencing and lack of an up to date CPR sign.

"Waterco is able to help enhance awareness of the need to display CPR charts, given we have strong relationships with pool builders around Australia, not to mention pool stores. In addition, we include charts with our pool handover kits."

Waterco has long sold CPR charts individually, and also includes them as standard with its pool handover equipment kits. These kits include brush vac brooms, leaf rakes, water test kits and vacuum hose - the basic requirements for new and old swimming pools. These are provided by pool builders when they do pool handovers, plus pool stores sell these kits when pool owners need a replacement.

The Royal Life Saving / Waterco CPR charts are manufactured from high quality UV stabilised polypropylene plastic and are 750mm (h) x 400mm (w).
