Web a hit as a B&D Doors site opens doors for users

A redesigned website which allows customers to see how a B&D Door would look on their own garage has doubled
visitor numbers for Australia's leading manufacturer of garage doors.
B&D Doors sees the strong response to the upgrade of its website (www.bnd.com.au) as further evidence of the strength of
Australia's building and renovation boom.
Over 50,000 visitors a month have checked out the website since its renovation.
The website offers a resource for customers and includes an interactive tool to help B&D's network of accredited dealers
Australia-wide service their customers.
The contemporary design centre within the site allows customers to see how a B&D door would look on their garage.
Homeowners can preview their style and colour choices from B&D's extensive garage doors range online to see how they would
look on their garage.
The site gives quick and easy access to illustrations and details of the extensive B&D range of garage doors, from the iconic
Roll-A-Door to the revolutionary range of Panelift sectional overhead doors.
A photo gallery showcases the latest installations and individual design descriptions explain the benefits and attributes of each
door style.
The revamped site features an interactive, map-based dealer locator, which allows customers to locate their closest accredited
dealer.
Accredited dealers are endorsed to market and distribute the full range of B&D-branded products and commit to the highest
standards of customer service.
A separate secure area allows B&D to service accredited dealers individually and interact with all parties who access the site.
B&D national brand manager Lindon Flancbaum attributes the surge in visitors to the new and exciting interactive features of
the revamped site.
"It gives our customers and our dealers a useful, interactive tool that is easy to use," Mr Flancbaum said.
"We are continuing to develop and update the site to provide information on the latest product offerings and design trends."
