New Tsurumi wastewater pumps available now from the Engineered Products Group
Engineered Products Group (EPG) the exclusive Australian distributors of Tsurumi Submersible Pumps, has recently announced
the availability of a new range of wastewater and sewage pumps, capable of passing 75 mm spherical solids. A re-designed version of
Tsurumi's very popular B Series pumps, the range is expected to be popular with Councils and Water Authorities for Sewage Pumping Stations
and manufacturing industry whose wastewater contain solid material.
All of Tsurumi's B Series Pumps from 7.5 kW through to 22.0 kW now boast a 75 mm spherical solids handling capability, making them ideal
for most sewage pumping applications. These pumps also come with dual inside mechanical seals of silicone carbide, motor overload protection
and Tsurumi's patented oil lifter.
One of the "killers" of Submersible Pumps is the lack of lubrication to the top seal faces as oil is consumed from the oil cavity. Not only
do Tsurumi supply their pumps with one of the largest oil cavities for pumps in their class, but the oil lifter provides positive lubrication
to the top seal faces, even as oil levels get down to critical levels within the reservoir. Another feature that comes as "standard" with
this series of pumps is Tsurumi's "anti-wicking" cable entry, to prevent moisture "wicking" down cable conductors (and into the motor) if
the cable is inadvertently cut or nicked during installation, maintenance or repair.
Tsurumi has been manufacturing quality Submersible Pumps for an excess of 50 years from their manufacturing plant in Japan, and has been
one of the technological leaders in this field. Most of the technological advances they have made over the past 15 years have been used
in the development of this current range of "B Series" Pumps.
All Tsurumi B Series Pumps are available with guide rail connectors or as stand alone units.
