Play with Proscenium™– New Interface collection featuring PLA hybrid fibre technology.

Moving colour from a supporting role to centre stage, the new
Proscenium Collection from Interface modular carpet goes bright with
a combination of linear and geometric elements.
The Proscenium Collection features eight patterns able to be mixed and matched,
for a new definition of bold, or can be teamed with the complimentary Solid Foundation range for accents of fun within solid colour.
Proscenium represents the first Interface products released in Asia-Pacific that
utilise a hybrid blend of polylactic acid (PLA) and nylon fibres - another
important progression in Interface's commitment to producing more sustainable products.
PLA is a bio-based, renewable resource made from non food grade #2 corn and
potentially other starch containing agricultural plant materials. The starch
portion of these agricultural products is converted to sugar and fermented to
produce lactic acid. This is then processed and polymerised to produce PLA.
Reducing the use of non-renewable resources is a key objective of Interface,
and the PLA content of these products uses 20-50% less fossil fuel resources
than traditional hydrocarbon resins. Not only does it mean less greenhouse
gases produced; the PLA component can also return to "natural" cycles.
Designed primarily for hospitality, retail and public spaces, the Proscenium
Collection adds colour and life to any environment, while offering a more sustainable product solution.
