Industry Capability Network Victoria (ICN) endorses Infrastructure Australia trade exhibition


Infrastructure Australia 2007 trade exhibition is pleased to welcome ICN as a supporting organisation to the event. ICN is an independent, not-for-profit service to the manufacturing engineering and services sector funded by the State Government. With a growing industry capability database of over 40,000 Australian businesses, ICN consultants perform a technical role, providing purchasers with a free sourcing and business matching service to identify competitive Australian capability and innovation.

Infrastructure Australia 2007 will feature 6 sectors focusing different aspects of infrastructure needs within Australia:

  • Buildex - Building & Construction Products.
  • Transafex - Road, Safety & Security.
  • Urbanex - Urban Furnishings.
  • Environex - Waste, Water, Recycle, Energy.
  • Medex - Medical Infrastructure.
  • Infocomex - IT Infrastructure.

IA is currently in discussion with various road authorities, park authorities, city councils, rail and port authorities, developers, universities, public works to officially invite delegations from these authorities to visit the exhibition for sourcing products and services for their existing and upcoming projects. IA has been specifically designed to be used as a sourcing event for various infrastructure related projects.

Infrastructure Australia 2007 is a unique exhibition designed to bring together the private businesses and government organizations which make up the different industries supporting Infrastructure in Australia. The event is to be held from the 6-8 September 2007 at the Melbourne Exhibition & Convention Centre. The exhibition is a business to business focused exhibition which was created to bring together the major buyers and sellers in Australia's Infrastructure supply chain, in a forum entirely designed for trade.
