ProctorWrap High Perm (HP) wall membranes
from Dynamic Composite Technologies

Wall breather membranes are an important part of the modern wall construction. Proper installation and attention to detail can prevent water migration into the building from the exterior, will facilitate drying out and prevent interstitial condensation. Breathable membranes behind exterior claddings serve as a secondary drainage layer allowing for wind blown rain to drain safely down the exterior face of the breather membrane.

Proctor ProctorWrap High Perm (HP) is a spun bonded polypropylene material developed primarily as a breather membrane for use in timber and steel frame wall construction. ProctorWrap High Perm (HP) affords effective protection, during construction and for the life of the building, against wind-driven rain, snow and dust. ProctorWrap High Perm (HP) is a highly durable, strong and lightweight textile membrane that is silent when exposed to wind and will last the lifetime of the building even in corrosive coastal environments.

Unlike foil products, the high water vapour permeability of ProctorWrap High Perm (HP) allows for the controlled escape of vapour from within the building whilst restricting the ingress of moisture.

ProctorWrap High Perm (HP) will help protect the building fabric and insulation from condensation and related problems such as mould, timber rot, corrosion and loss of thermal resistance.

ProctorWrap High Perm (HP) is specified as a vapour permeable building wrap for behind exterior cladding and brick veneer in cold and temperate climates. ProctorWrap High Perm (HP) can remain exposed up to 2 months without UV degradation.

Features;

  • High vapour permeability.
  • True breathability designed with air permeability.
  • Unaffected by typical timber treatments.
  • Tested to AS/NZS 4200.1.
  • UV stabilised for 2 months exposure during construction.
  • Strong, yet lightweight for ease of use.
  • 100% Recyclable.
  • Mould resistant.
