ProctorWrap Air Tight (AT) air tight wall applications
by Dynamic Composite Technologies

The subject of mould and mildew is of great importance and concern in the construction industry today. The concept of "sick buildings" is a term that all designers and building owners are aware of and are trying to prevent. Products which do not allow your building to breathe adequately may actually be trapping moisture, which is the primary cause of mould.

ProctorWrap Air Tight (AT) was developed to address the needs of building envelope construction where a water tight, air tight and vapour permeable barrier is required.

ProctorWrap Air Tight (AT) is a triple layer polypropylene textile developed primarily as a breather membrane for use in timber and steel frame wall construction behind rain screen claddings and as vapour permeable underlay for supported metal roof applications.

ProctorWrap Air Tight (AT) affords effective protection, during construction and for the life of the building, against wind-driven rain, snow and dust and allows for the controlled escape of vapour from within the building whilst restricting the ingress of moisture.

ProctorWrap Air Tight (AT) is a highly durable, strong and lightweight textile membrane that is quiet when exposed to wind, will last the lifetime of the building even in corrosive coastal environments, and will not interrupt television and radio signals.

In combination with taping overlaps, ProctorWrap Air Tight (AT) forms an air tight wrap for the building reducing the loss of heated air or cooled air from the building thus improving the energy efficiency of the building envelope.

Features;

  • High vapour permeability.
  • Tested to AS/NZS 4200.1.
  • UV stabilised for 2 months exposure during construction.
  • Strong, yet flexible and lightweight for ease of use.
  • Mould resistant.
  • Highly air tight and water tight.
