Slate Look Concrete from ASC Building Supplies

Slate-Crete by ASC Wholesale Suppliers is a finish for concrete that comes in a range of various patterns designed to look like slate. After the concrete is screeded and trowelled the base colour is then applied.

It is not unusual to apply more than one colour. eg Salmon (base colour) and up to two other colours eg. Terracotta and Yellow to obtain a certain required look.

After curing, the concrete is pressure blasted with water to remove excess release agent. This is very important if the sealer is to have optimum effect.

Two coats of an acrylic clear sealer are applied with the second coat containing a slip resistant powder. The sealer is to protect the surface from staining and to enhance the colour.
