High Level Double Hinged Doors

This video demonstrates a project where we, Unique Window Services, were engaged to come up with a control option for high level double hinged operable doors/windows.

The purpose of the openings was 2 fold. Firstly to let in large amounts of natural light and secondly to allow for passive ventilation to occur on those hot summer days. Hot air rises and these high level operable windows allow this heated air a means of escaping the home that in turns draws in cooler air from outside through low level openings.

We designed the mounting bracket specifically for this project and used our Linco S200 motors as the linear actuator. Please visit our website for more information about Unique Window Services and what we might be able to achieve for you.
