DOW STYROFOAM - Meeting environmental standards 
Styrofoam 'A' has been specified for Bendigo Banks HQ in Bendigo VIC. Probuild needed to supply a '0' ODP material for client Bendigo Bank. DOW Styrofoam is the only XPS Extruded Polystyrene that is available CFC & HCFC free. Concern about ozone depletion in the stratosphere has led to international agreements to phase out the use of ozone-depleting chemicals. STYROFOAM products from Europe are hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) free and comply with the requirements of EC Regulation No 2037/2000 (1 Oct 2000) on substances which deplete the ozone layer. STYROFOAM `X' products are blown with a hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) and 'A' products with carbon dioxide. DOW Styrofoam is distributed in Australia by Dynamic Composite Technologies Pty Ltd.
