of the few professional companies who specialise in salvaged River Red
Gum timbers which can be cut to size, sanded and finished, ready for
a builder or kitchen company to install.
The look can vary from a heavily featured timber with dark sap pockets
resin filled to create a smooth surface to a very even grained piece of
timber with minimal birds eye and fiddle back. Rustic with natural bark
edge or modern with straight cut edges and profiles.
All Australian Timber Slabs work is finished to the highest standards
with 6-8 coats of polyurethane applied in a spray booth or a top quality
oil.
Plus a solid timber top 40mm+ thick all the way through, means that
after many years of use it can be easily rejuvenated, any marks sanded
back and the timber finished to look as new again.
