The recently formed Waterproofing Division of Austress Freyssinet
has chosen Foamular Extruded Polystyrene as the insulation component of their
innovative waterproofing system.
Five thousand plus square meters of Foamular Extruded Polystyrene will be used to
protect the waterproofing membrane and provide on going Thermal Insulation to the
roof areas of the Prince Henry Hospital in Sydney.
Foamular Extruded Polystyrene is a closed cell Extruded Insulation board that has
high insulation values that are maintained over the long term (20 year Guaranteed).
The added benefits of minimum moisture absorption coupled with high compressive
strength ensure Foamular Extruded Polystyrene will contribute on going energy efficiency
to the building whilst protecting the waterproofing membrane, thus minimizing
maintenance costs.
With its ability to provide high R values and maintain compressive strength and
physical properties over the long term Foamular Extruded Polystyrene is the insulation
of choice for many applications.
