Shockmat from Projex Group helps keep Bondi lifesavers fit
Projex Group recently donated the Shockmat flooring for Bondi
Surf Lifesaving Club's new gymnasium in recognition of the fine work that Bondi
Surf Club (Australia's oldest and best-known surf club) performs for the community.
Projex (through its Wolfin products) has been a long-time supporter of Bondi
Surf Club and intends to continue its support in the future.
Projex Shockmat - 10mm thick recycled rubber matting - has been used on the
floors of gymnasiums throughout Australia. Bondi's previous gym - prior to the
renovations - has had the same Projex Shockmat floor in place for over 15 years
- despite intensive heavy weight use and the regular introduction of both sand
and seawater from the Lifesavers' feet!
The floor was installed by the Bondi Lifesavers themselves.
