Controlite skylights from Solarspace with unique operable technology
The internal louvres provide light and heat control, eliminating the
need for blinds or screens over the skylight. The system is fully enclosed, so it
never needs cleaning.
When compared with a conventional skylight, Controlite skylights can block out up 81%
more heat in summer. In winter, they admit up to 100% more daylight while retaining 75%
more heat in winter.
The rotating louvres are the key to this flexibility of light and heat transfer. When
the louvres are closed, they can reduce the skylight's heat transmission to only 7%.
When open, they admit up to 60% of light and heat in winter.
